- Shredded Carrots - 3 cups
- Milk - 1 to 1 1/2 cups
- Sugar - 3/4 cup
- Cardamom Powder - 1/4 tsp
- Ghee - 1 to 2 tbsp
- Nuts to garnish (Optional)
Method:
- Add shredded carrots to a kadai and cook well till it becomes slightly soft. Around 5mins by stirring occasionally.
- Add the milk to carrots and let the carrots cook in the milk till all of the milk evaporates and carrots are cooked well.
- Add sugar as needed for the sweetness and stir well. Cook for another 15-20mins adding ghee when it's almost done.
- Garnish with chopped pistachios/nuts and serve hot or chilled.
