Konkani Style Kelya Halwo | Konkani Food | Ripe Banana Halwa | 4 ingredient Halwa | Amchigele Recipes

Ingredients:
  • Banana (Plantain / NendranPazham) - 1 big
  • Sugar - 3 to 5 tbsp 
  • Melted Ghee - 2 tbsp
  • Cardamom Powder - 1/2 to 1 tsp
  • Oil for frying
Method:
  • Cut banana lengthwise into two.

  • Slice the bananas to desired thickness.
  • Heat oil in a frying pan and deep fry the banana pieces to a little more than golden brown on medium flame.
  • Transfer to a bowl. When it is still hot, add ghee, cardamom powder and sugar.
  • Mix it well with a spoon to combine everything OR close it with a tight lid and shake well to combine.
  • Enjoy the delicious banana halwa.
