- Coconut - 1
Method:
- Clean the coconut for extra fibers on shell.
- Freeze the coconut for overnight in a plastic bag. Next day, dip it in water for around half an hour.
- Using a big knife, break the coconut to two. If frozen coconut, coconut water would be crystals. Take them off to a glass, save for later.
- Using a knife, line around the edge of the first half (drag knife between the flesh and shell).
- You will be able to get big chunks of coconut or even the whole half easily.
- Take a mixer jar. Pulse the chunks of coconut in batches. Do not overcrowd.
- After pulsing for a couple of times, grind it in lowest speed for 30seconds or till done.
- Shredded coconut is ready.
